Business Analyst
United States (Remote)
ResourceWise is seeking a Business Analyst with strong analytic abilities, and solid project management skills. The successful candidate will collect and analyze data in support of client projects led by our strategy consulting team. The successful candidate will also be curious, resourceful, well organized, and have a dedication to detail and accuracy. Experience in the pulp, paper, or forestry industry is a plus!
Requirements:- BS in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in an analytical role, performing and reporting analysis of data to management
- Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities, including finance, economic theory, mathematics and statistics, and quantitative methods
- Demonstrated project management experience; the ability to work closely with clients and other employees on a variety of projects
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to consult with customers to understand project needs
- Expert-level ability to model and manipulate data in MS Excel
- Solid time-management and follow-through skills, with the ability to simultaneously work on and manage multiple tasks and projects with tight deadlines
- Ability to work well independently
- Knowledge of financial analytics, MS Office, and statistics
- Collect data from ResourceWise databases and other sources to use in the construction of quantitative models such as discounted cash flow analyses, regression analysis, forecasting and simulation
- Work collaboratively with strategy consultants to determine the type and scope of analysis required to complete consulting projects for our clients
- Organize data into report format and prepare graphic illustrations of findings
