CO280 Solutions Reaches CDR Offtake Agreement with JPMorganChase; Unlocks Investment in US Pulp & Paper Industry

According to the terms, JPMorganChase will acquire 450,000 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent over a 13-year period at a cost of less than US$200 per ton. The pulp and paper mills produce substantial amounts of biogenic CO2 from wood waste, and CO280 has developed an economical method to enhance CDR by retrofitting these mills to capture biogenic CO2 from boiler stack emissions. CO280 is collaborating with pulp and paper companies to initiate over ten CDR projects, collectively achieving a capacity of ten million tons of CDR annually. Read more: www.prnewswire.com
