ACCOUNT REPRESENTATIVE - Low Carbon Fuel and Feedstock Markets

This position will drive revenue and market share growth for PRIMA Markets across Europe. The primary function of this role is to generate recurring subscription sales for our business intelligence platform – CarbonZero, through client retention and inside sales into key accounts, while also managing specific new logo campaigns.  The successful candidate will be hands-on and energetic, persuasive, and well organized. This position will report to the Global Sales Manager – PRIMA Markets.   


Job Duties

  • Generate new sales of PRIMA Markets products, particularly subscriptions services
  • Maximize client retention and contract renewals for key accounts
  • Expand existing business using consultative sales techniques; build, maintain and execute on an account plan for each key client
  • Create strong relationships with key client stakeholders across management levels.
  • Represent PRIMA Markets at conferences, trade shows, and client/industry meetings.
  • Synthesize customer pains, market issues and opportunities into product development opportunities, working with operations and product development.

 

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience in selling market data intelligence; demonstrated success in prospecting, qualifying, closing, and account management best practices.
  • Experience in renewable feedstocks, renewable fuels, and/or bio-chemicals a strong plus.
  • Ability to understand and communicate customer needs, marketplace dynamics, industry trends, and competitive threats within a market.
  • Ability to convert prospects into customers; maintaining a pipeline to meet goals.
  • Understanding of the basic principles of use of market intelligence by B2B customers, including market analysis, contracting, price adjustment, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong written communications skills
  • Flexibility to travel as needed for conferences, trade shows, and client meetings.
  • Competency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM
  • Fluency in English, other languages a plus
  • Ability to work productively in a remote setting with access to reliable internet.
