Forest2Market Adds New Timber and Fiber Market Analyst–Javon Carter

Forest2Market (F2M) recently welcomed Javon Carter, its newest timber and fiber market analyst. Javon completed his M.S. in Forest Biomaterials at North Carolina State University, where he singlehandedly produced biomass pellets from wood fiber he harvested himself. A detail-oriented and quality-conscious forest biomaterials scientist, Javon's expertise will support customers in all segments of Forest2Market's business, but especially those in the bioenergy industry.

"Javon's experience making wood pellets demonstrated to us the fact that he thrives when he is challenged," said Daniel Stuber, F2M's operations manager. "That, his research in forest biomass, energy production and the kraft pulp and paper process and his experience in statistics and mathematical modeling all made him the ideal candidate."

As for Javon, he's ready to get to work. "A large portion of the work I completed during my M.S. directly correlates to the work I will undertake here at F2M. I am tremendously enthusiastic about the opportunity I now have to use my analytical and critical thinking skills, as well as my knowledge of the bioenergy sector, to help Forest2Market's customers answer questions and solve problems."
