Matteo Baldi helps lead our team of Business Managers to generate new sales for our chemicals industry data platform OrbiChem360. He is responsible for a global sales growth plan and resourcing strategy.
Matteo previously worked as a Senior Consultant in Chemical Sales where drafting and negotiation of proposal, business development and 360° Consulting were his primary focuses. Matteo has extensive experience in the international sales of chemicals, mainly destined for application in the industrial coating industry for flexible substrates. He has held sales positions with Dermochimica S.P.A., Stahl Holdings B.V., and Madraspelli S.P.A. His experience in working in global B2B environments will enrich our local footprint in Europe, but also across the globe. Matteo graduated with a Chemistry degree in 2005 from ITC Cattaneo in Italy, and in 2018 completed a Masters program in Marketing & Sales.
Chemistry is a passion of Matteo’s as he even finds time outside work to produce beer, cider, and other fermented distilled beverages. Aside from that, he is a mountain lover. He enjoys both skiing and hiking, but also finds the time to enjoy anything with an engine on – particularly cars!
