Michael Standel has over 30 years of management experience in the highly technical specialty paper and forest products industries. He is a strategic visionary leader and skilled team builder driven to achieve best-in-class EHS performance, superior product quality, operational excellence, and sustainable prosperity.
Before joining ResourceWise in 2022, Standel spent 13 years at Sappi North America, first as the Manager of Manufacturing Operations, then as the Managing Director of Sappi Westbrook.
Michael holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Maine.
