Clara Clark

Data Services Manager, Forest Products
 

Clara has over 10 years of experience working in forestry consulting as a Planning Analyst and Senior Biometrician at American Forest Management. In her time there, she specialized in working with large complex data sets. She created and maintained growth and yield systems for Lidar derived data which provided current inventory estimates and future growth estimates. She worked closely with land landowners to meet their objectives for all forest regions of the US. Clara has presented the work she has done at industry conferences and college guest lectures. She notably was a keynote speaker at the Texas State Society of American Foresters meeting in April 2022, and a panelist on the Development of the FVS at the Forest Vegetation Simulator User Group in March 2023.

Clara obtained her B.S. in Forest Resource Management from Michigan State University and her M.S. in Forest Biometrics from Virgina Tech. She is also currently a member of the Society of American Foresters.
