Dr. Abbati has more than 15 years of experience in process and engineering design. At Fisher International, Camilla is part of the Benchmark Team, responsible for the Benchmark Modules in FisherSolve. Her areas of expertise include process simulation, equipment design, capital cost estimation, biorefineries, and investment risk analysis.
Prior to joining Fisher International, Camilla was Process Engineering Expert for new investments at Rhodia / Solvay Group.
Camilla holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Chemical Engineering from University of São Carlos and University of Campinas, and has a Ph.D. from North Carolina State University, Department of Forest Biomaterials, with a minor in Business.
Her research interests are related to approaches and methodologies to aid investment decisions in biorefineries, at the early stages of design, such as techno-economic assessment and risk analysis.
