Pete Stewart is a 26-year veteran of the forest products industry. As President, CEO and founder of Forest2Market®, he continues to take the lead in developing new products for the global forest products industry. As a result of Forest2Market’s unique approach to collecting only transaction-level pricing, the company has become the standard pricing service in North America, Latin America and Europe.
Stewart has led acquisition due diligence projects in the United States, Argentina and Brazil and has been responsible for forest planning and harvest scheduling for $350 million of institutional forestland. A Texas native, Stewart has a BS in Forestry from Texas A&M and an MS in Economics from the University of Georgia.
With extensive knowledge of the supply chain and Forest2Market’s proprietary databases for log and lumber prices, Stewart provides accurate analysis of market trends and forecasts for forest products industries and emerging markets. He is a trusted advisor to the executive management of the major forest products companies worldwide.
A member of the Executive Team, Peter Coutu is responsible for sales and service for the company’s forestry and forest products industry customers worldwide. He also manages Forest2Market’s global sales staff and strategic sales plans.
Coutu has 30 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Forest2Market, he spent seven years at Plum Creek where he held a series of senior-level marketing and sales positions. As Senior Marketing Manager – Lake States, Coutu had direct responsibility for sales and marketing of wood products from 1.1 million acres of land in Michigan and Wisconsin that deliver up to $80 million in annual revenue for the company. He also managed large accounts, led long-term contract negotiations and developed strategic direction for sales, marketing, and account management efforts.
Before working at Plum Creek, Coutu spent 15 years at International Paper. There he served as both Fiber Procurement Manager, where he managed a fiber procurement team of five purchasing agents and provided two manufacturing locations with $25 million of wood fiber annually, and as Operations Manager, where he was responsible for managing 300,000 acres of timberland and supervising a team of nine in planning and harvesting 320,000 tons of timber annually.
Coutu has a B.S. in Forest Management from the University of Maine and an M.S. in Forest Management from Michigan State.
A member of the Executive Team, Stuber oversees the development, design and operations of analytics and forest metrics at Forest2Market. He is responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of all analytic, data management and project-based work, including resource studies, site evaluations and specialty forecasts. He is also responsible for maintaining and establishing new data resource partnerships, as well as leading data infrastructure development. Stuber is also responsible for information technology at Forest2Market.
Since 2002, Stuber has held several positions at Forest2Market that have contributed to the company’s success and growth. His prior experience includes a variety of roles in the forestry industry, including stints in sawmills and with the U.S. Forest Service. He also has experience in timber inventory management, silvicultural applications and harvesting.
A graduate of the University of Georgia's Daniel B. Warnell School of Forest Resources, he holds BS and an M.F.R. in Forest Resources.
Jeffrey T Loftin joined ResourceWise in May of 2022 as Chief Financial Officer responsible for all of the financial functions including accounting, treasury, corporate finance, financial planning, and investor relations.
Before joining ResourceWise in May, Loftin was the VP of Finance for Vontier where he was head of the Company’s financial planning and analysis function managing business segment financial performance and supporting investor relations, strategy and acquisition teams. Prior to that he served as SEC Reporting Director and Corporate Controller for XPO Logistics. He began his career in in public accounting with Deloitte in Charlotte.
A North Carolina native, Loftin earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration as well as his Masters of Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
A member of the Executive Team, Kinney is responsible for the development, integration, and implementation of a broad range of global marketing and public relations activities relative to the strategic direction and positioning of the organization and its leadership, overseeing all marketing and communications efforts in North America, Latin America and Europe.
She is responsible for integrated marketing and communications products and services including: newsletters and other print publications; web, blogs and other online communications; media and public relations; and marketing. She has been instrumental in developing and implementing content marketing, social media and customer loyalty strategies.
An experienced and certified project manager, Kinney has also managed development projects for both marketing assets (websites and videos) and for Forest2Market's online delivery platform, SilvaStat360 as well as third-party partner products. Prior to joining Forest2Market, she was Research and Publications Manager at Omega Performance, a training company for the financial services industry, and a lecturer at several universities in Ohio and North Carolina.
Kinney has both a B.A. and an M.A. in English from Ohio University.
Carl Rowell leads software development and programming for Forest2Market, Fisher International and Tecnon OrbiChem. He formulates IT strategy and manages the delivery platforms for all companies. He leads a team of developers responsible for product development and maintenance for multiple SaaS products.
Carl has over 30 years of professional experience in IT, including work in the energy, manufacturing and data services industries.
Greg Stone is responsible for product development and planning for Fisher, Forest2Market, and Tecnon OrbiChem. He leads our IT infrastructure roadmap and any associated strategic vendor relationships.
As the combined companies continue to grow under the management of Battery Ventures, Greg is also responsible for any potential infrastructure systems upgrades, onboarding transitions, strategy improvements, and technology alignments across all organizations.
Greg has over 15 years of professional experience in the pulp and paper industry both on an operations front but also in IT oversight.
Matt Elhardt is a Strategic Planning professional with 20 years of pulp and paper industry experience in sales, marketing, product development, and operations. His area of expertise is identifying growth potential and achieving performance end-goals through strategic management, pricing and margin optimization, and anticipating marketplace dynamics.
At Fisher International, Matt helps clients leverage Fisher’s resources to achieve their objectives particularly in assessing disruption and predicting price cycles and turning points in pulp, packaging, and OCC markets.
Prior to joining Fisher, Matt held management positions in marketing and operations at Longview Fibre Paper and Packaging, being responsible for corporate strategy and marketing during the period Longview underwent “the best turnaround in the past 25 years,” according to Mark Wilde, a well-known paper industry stock analyst.
Matt earned his MBA from the University of Washington, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Washington State University.
With over thirty years of experience in the Western forest industry, Culbertson has an extensive background in multiple facets of the business. He served as vice president of resources for Swanson Group, where he managed timberland operations as well as annual log and timber production. His experience also includes serving as vice president of timberland operations for Rosboro Lumber, where he was responsible for coordinating timber supply for diversified manufacturing operations.
Active in the industry and his community, Culbertson has served as the executive level representative for a number of organizations including the Oregon Forest Industries Council, the American Forest Resource Council, the Washington Forest Protection Association, the Oregon Logging Conference and the Southern Oregon Log Scaling and Grading Bureau. He is past president of the Twin Rivers Rotary Club of Springfield, Oregon. Culbertson received a forest technology degree from Lane Community College.
Nikki Perk, North American Sales Representative, is responsible for driving revenue growth, profitability, and market share for Forest2Market. She manages Forest2Market’s stumpage price database and generates subscription sales under SilvaStat360. Nikki believes the rewards for using data to make strategic decisions are significant and delights when clients derive value by relying on data analytics.
Nikki’s background includes a unique mix of sales, marketing, engagement, culture, HR and client experience. Prior to F2M, Nikki served as Client Experience Manager with SPARK Business Works, a custom software firm specializing in digital products and strategic design. She is also an experienced recruiter/student outreach manager for pulp and paper engineers while serving the Western Michigan University Paper Technology Foundation leadership.
With a perspective that lifelong learning never ends, Nikki approaches every relationship and project with curiosity, energy, and a spirit that seeks to contribute to improved performance, operation, and utilization.
Nikki holds a master’s in Organizational Learning & Performance from Western Michigan University and earned her bachelor’s in Communications from the University of West Georgia.
Trip Jobe is a growth strategist with 25 years of pulp and paper industry experience in sales, marketing, product development and business leadership. He enjoys bringing clarity and alignment to stakeholders via data and a market focused strategic process.
At ResourceWise, Trip helps clients in the Forest Value Chain maximize their objectives through the Fisher and Forest2Market platforms. These capabilities enable us to assist clients in the timber, pulp, paper and packaging markets, including end users.
Prior to joining ResourceWise, Trip was the Chief Commercial Officer for Rand Inc., a strategic marketing and analytics firm. He began his 20+ year forest products career at International Paper, before joining Kimberly-Clark. In 2004, Trip was leading the Marketing organization when Neenah Paper was spun-off from KCC and led significant growth and helped to reshape the Fine and Technical Products businesses over the next 9 years through various acquisitions, joint ventures and new market entries.
Trip earned his MBA from Emory University and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Davidson College.
